I pronounce it BAR-bro (rhymes with bro)

It’s Swedish, but it’s OK if you don’t want to roll the "r.” My grandmother came from a village near the Arctic Circle. Now I go through life with this cool name and a fondness for pickled herring.

I never question grandmothers.
